Donald David “Don” Dauber, 77, of Bellefontaine, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, at OSU Medical Center, Columbus, surrounded by his family.
He was born May 24, 1938, in Jackson, Mich., to the late Wilbur Emmett and Wanda Hopkins Dauber.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ella Monroe Dauber; sons, Jeff Dauber, David (Tina) Dauber and Brian (Becky) Dauber; daughter, Linda (Scott) Kelly; grandchildren, Hayden Dauber, Heather (Robert Perez) Dauber, Ashlie (Shawn) Christopher, Dustin (Lela) Dauber, Katie, Natalie and Hannah Dauber, and Emilie and Matt Totin; four great-grandchildren.
Don was employed through Super Foods as a printer, and was a lifelong member of the Bellefontaine First Church of God, where he retired as custodian. He was also a member of the senior men’s group and the Happy Saints senior group.
He enjoyed being outside, was an avid bicyclist and an overall handyman. He enjoyed the time he spent with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
Pastors Ray Headings and Gary Brown and Nate Wilcoxon officiate a funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Bellefontaine First Church of God, 1000 E. Brown Ave. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Jennings Farley Funeral Home & Crematory, West Liberty. Burial is at the convenience of the family.
