United Way of Logan County officials announced this morning the campaign has surpassed its 50 percent mark, and Campaign Cabinet volunteers show off the thermometer tracking progress in downtown Bellefontaine, including from left, Tammy Gump, Abby Miller, Casey Wagner, Michael Wilson, Sue Crawfis, Alison Marker and Mary Giannola. Donations and pledges total $508,878 toward the $1 million goal to support the organization’s fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in Logan County. Fifty-seven local businesses have committed to conduct a workplace giving campaign among employees. United Way anticipates more than 3,500 individuals and hundreds of local businesses will make personal or small corporate gifts before the campaign ends near Thanksgiving.
