BLHS Junior Kaden Arn uses a Circuit Playground to experiment with different Python codes. Through the $500 Energizing Education grant provided by the Logan County Electric Cooperative, each student in the high school Introduction to Programming course received a Circuit Playground. These boards help students learn how to code using sensors such as temperature, light and sound, as well as outputs such as speakers and lights. Students then will create a device that utilizes the Circuit Playground and their code to perform a certain task. This course is taught by Jason Smith. (BENJAMIN LOGAN PHOTO)
