Gloria Jean Alig, 65 of West Liberty, earned her wings on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020, in her home surrounded by her loving family as a result of natural causes.
She was born Sept. 28, 1954 in Bellefontaine, the daughter of Alfred and Betty Wooten. She was retired from Honeywell Grimes with 36 years of service and was a licensed cosmetologist. She was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist Church.
Gloria loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and she will be missed by many.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” of 45 years; children Billie (David) Klauer, Bob (Jenna) Alig, Barbie (Kyle) Williams; brother Mike Wooten; sister Debbie (Larry) Lamb; grandchildren Emily, Latasha, Zandra, Annacee, Walker, Ella, Dallas, Harlie and Anna; mother-in-law Donna Alig; brother-in-law Mark Harmon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Patti Harmon.
Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, 5591 S. U.S. Route 68. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, face masks and social distancing is recommended.
