Three family members have been sentenced for their actions in and after the January overdose death of Katie Foreman Turner.
Eric W. George, 32, of 540 Eastern Ave., was sentenced to four years in prison for corrupting another with drugs, a third-degree felony; deception to obtain a dangerous drug, a fifth-degree felony; illegal use of supplemental nutrition assistance benefits, a fifth-degree felony; and trafficking in drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
A fourth-degree felony charge was dropped in exchange for his October guilty pleas.
His wife, Amanda George, 32, and his father, David A. George, 53, each was charged with third-degree felony counts of intimidating a witness or victim for threatening the individual who made the controlled drug buy.
Both pleaded guilty to single charges of misdemeanor counts of complicity to intimidate a witness in September.
