Frederick W. Clark, 87, of Huntsville, passed away at 4:21 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018, at his home. He was born in Hardin County on Aug. 24, 1930, to the late Fred George and Verda Elizabeth Sweigart Clark.
Frederick was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sharri Harshfield; a sister, Irene Cousin; and a daughter-in-law, Lori Clark.
On Aug. 24, 1959, in Kenton, he married the former Patricia Orahood and she survives, along with his children, John (Tonya) Kerns, Mike (Pauline) Kerns, Deb (Pete) Fout, Jeff (Amy) Clark, Randy Clark, Doug (Kathy) Clark and Chris (Jim) Hengsteler; grandchildren, John Kerns III, Ashley Kerns, Donna Ritter, Dee Dee Kerns, Mike Kerns, Jennifer Wherry Kerns, Chasity Phillips, Cassii Penny, Shannan Penny, James Fout, Tyler Evans, Nicole Clark, Heather Clark, Alic Bickham, Andrew Bickham, Ruth Clark, Josh Clark, Wesley Harshfield, Randy Cole, Bobby Cole, Billy Cole, John Clark and Meliesha Hengsteler; several great and greatgreat grandchildren; and a niece, Sharon Watt and her children.
Frederick was a U.S. Army veteran and was a truck driver for 35 years. He was a life member of the VFW in Sidney. Frederick loved to be on the road driving, especially the back roads. He enjoyed antique cars and working on cars. Frederick loved spending time with his family and friends and he loved them dearly.
It was Frederick’s wish to be cremated and a private family graveside will be held at a later date through arrangements by Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Express condolences to the family at www.edsfh.com.
