Frank Joseph “Joe” Black, 68, of Ridgeway, died at 8:29 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at his residence.
He was born April 2, 1949, in Kenton to the late Bernard Woodrow and Grace Marie Ansley Black.
He is survived by three sisters, Nancy Gossard-Lane of Bellefontaine, Barbara (Ronald) Mouser of Ridgeway and Patricia (fiance Charles Rader) Wilson of Rushsylvania; special friend, Susan Greeno of Findlay; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Black; niece, Rhonda Mouser; nephew, Micah Black; and a brother-in-law, Lee Wilson.
Joe was a 1968 graduate of Ridgemont High School. He worked at International Car in Kenton, Whirlpool in Marion and Rockwell in Kenton. Joe was a member of the Ridgeway United Methodist Church, the Kenton Moose Lodge for 37 years, and was a former Boy Scout. He enjoyed collecting model cars.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Hale Cemetery in Mt. Victory with Gary Burris officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Ridgeway United Methodist Church.
