The Logan County Health District hosts “A Day in the Life of Public Health” from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the 310 S. Main St. facility.
Flu shots will be available for all ages during the event, along with safe food cooking demonstrations and tastings and other snacks, health education, emergency preparation details, WIC eligibility assistance and the breastfeeding peer support group information.
The agency also is offering a discount on birth certificates during the event, at $20 each instead of the regular fee of $26.
