Roderick Smith, 39, of Springfield, was charged with a felony count of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs relating to a Thursday evening traffic stop in the city.

Deputies said the felony count was a result of Smith’s five prior OVI convictions. He also was cited for driving with no headlights and driving under suspension.
