Fawcett spent this season with the Dentil Praia Clube in Uberlandia, Brazil.
Sparked by Fawcett’s play, the squad won its first Super Liga title Sunday.
The team had to win a “3 out of 5 match” after losing the first match of the finals to set up a 25-point “golden set” for the championship.
Fawcett’s team won the first match 3-0 and then secured the gold trophy with a 25- 18 victory.
Fawcett had six kills on 12 attacks with no errors in the golden set to lead all scorers.
After many years competing with the U.S. national team, the former Benjamin Logan and Penn State star has now dedicated herself to the professional game. She plans to return to her Dentil Praia team next season.
