Breanne Comer has dreamed of owning her own business since shortly after graduating beauty school.

With a bit of faith — a faith the size of say, a poppy seed — that dream has become a reality.
The Poppy Seed salon and boutique opened this past weekend at 110 W. Columbus Ave.
In addition to being a studio for her and her mentor Shellie Erwin to style clients’ hair and nails, the business offers various spa style services and has a complete fashion line along with Comer’s own handmade jewelry and home decor items.
“We want people to come in here and get all dolled up and be able to get an outfit for a night out,” the proprietor said.
