Logan County Fair Board needs a new secretary, barely a month after its previous clerk was re-elected to a one-year term by the board.
Secretary Amy Sullivan resigned Wednesday during a regular fair board meeting for personal reasons.
The board has not yet begun advertising for a replacement, and intends first to review the job description for any necessary changes, according to discussion during the meeting.
Sullivan’s resignation was unexpected, board president Christie Barns said.
She has worked as fair board secretary since 2014, and was re-elected by the board to her position of secretary during the November organizational meeting.
