A new head of the Indian Lake EMS service reports improved morale within the department since the resignation of the former chief in October.
New Indian Lake EMS chief Adam Niederkohr said the overall mood within the department has improved “100 percent” since former chief Joanna Pittenger resigned effective Oct. 31.
“It’s been a pretty smooth transition overall and that is because of all the cooperation of the staff,” Mr. Niederkohr said. “The environment is better, 100 percent.”
