Dennise A. Anderson, 50, of 111 S. Sandusky Ave., Rushsylvania, was charged Sunday with theft.
As an employee of Walmart, 2281 S. Main St., she allegedly took $440 over the past month along with two candy bars and a pack of cigarettes.
She admitted taking a $20 bill multiple times from the register, telling officers she needed it for food as monthly bills were using up her wages.
