Kenneth Taylor, 27, of Columbus, was transported by BMRT squad to Lima Memorial Hospital for treatment of possible injuries sustained in a crash on State Route 117 at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report was operating a northbound car just south of County Road 96 when he drove off the right side of the road and down an embankment. His vehicle then struck a utility pole and sustained heavy damage.
Deputies indicated in the crash report that alcohol and/or drugs are suspected as factors in the crash, and test results are pending at this time. The driver also was not wearing his seat belt, and he was cited for failure to control.
