Rachel J. Jackson, 44, of DeGraff, was transported by Riverside EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for possible injuries sustained in a deer crash about 9:35 p.m. Monday.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a southbound sport utility vehicle when she struck a deer and then drove off the right side of the road. Damage was moderate to her SUV.
Ms. Jackson was wearing her seat belt. No citations were issued.
• Blaine Walter, 18, of DeGraff, was cited for failure to yield following a non-injury crash about 1:50 p.m. Sunday.
He reportedly was operating a car on County Road 63 and stopped at the stop sign on State Route 508. He then attempted to turn left onto S.R. 508 and struck a southbound car operated by Peyton Scherer, 17, of East Liberty.
Damage was heavy to both vehicles. Peyton also was cited for an expired registration.
