Todd A. Taylor, 26, of Bellefontaine, was flown by CareFlight helicopter to the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus for treatment of suspected serious injuries sustained in a crash Saturday, April 6.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report he was operating a westbound 2011 Ford Fusion On U.S. 33 near County Road 57 about 12:50 p.m. when he went off the right side of the road, continuing up an embankment before returning to the roadway.
The car overturned once in the road before traveling down into the median and coming to a final rest, deputies said.
At the time of the crash, the driver fell asleep/fainted, deputies noted in the driver’s condition in the crash report.
Damage was heavy to the car, which was towed from the scene. The driver was wearing his seat belt.
• Tyler A. Queen, 31, of West Liberty, was transported by Macochee EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries sustained in a crash Tuesday, April 9.
Deputies report he was operating a northbound 2005 Jeep Liberty in the 6400 block of County Road 47 about 5:40 a.m. when he went off the right side of the road, striking a culvert and some small trees.
Damage was heavy to the jeep, which was towed from the scene. The driver was wearing his seat belt and was cited for failure to control.
• Caleb Baumgardner, 19, of Bellefontaine, was transported by Bellefontaine EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Bellefontaine Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies report that the was operating a northbound 2002 Ford Mustang About 12:15 p.m. on Rush Avenue. He attempted to make a left turn onto Dowell Avenue and lost control, striking an eastbound 2011 Nissan Rogue operated by Faith A. Bradley, 55, of Bellefontaine, that was stopped at the intersection.
Damage was moderate to both vehicles. Baumgardner was cited for failure to control.
