Frank J. Bellamy, 35, of Columbus, was cited for failure to control related to a non-injury crash about 1 a.m. Saturday on Township Road 185.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report he was operating a westbound car just east of Township Road 179 when he drove off the right side of the road and struck a mailbox. Damage was heavy to the car, which was towed from the scene.
The driver was wearing his seat belt.
• Cathy L. Patton, 61, of Columbus, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead as a result of a crash about 2:05 p.m. Saturday in the village of Huntsville.
Deputies report she was operating a northbound vehicle on Lima Street and struck the rear of a northbound vehicle operated by Molly L. Smith, 36, of Zanesfield. The occupants were properly restrained in seat belts or child safety seats, deputies said.
• Alexandra J. Glauner, 26, of Belle Center, did not report any injuries in a crash involving a deer about 9 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies report she was operating a northbound sport utility vehicle on U.S. Route 68 just south of State Route 638 when she struck a deer and then drove off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.
Damage was heavy to her vehicle, which was towed from the scene. No citations were issued.
The driver was wearing her seat belt.
