Kirsten N. Milton, 22, of West Mansfield, was cited for failure to control following a one-vehicle crash about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on County Road 10 just east of County Road 55.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating an eastbound car when she drove off the right side of the road on a curve and struck a ditch. Her car then overturned and came to a rest on its top.
Bellefontaine Fire and EMS responded to the scene, but Ms. Milton was not transported. Damage to her car was heavy. The driver was wearing her seat belt.
• Joshua J. Clemans, 27, of Kenton, also was cited for failure to control following a non-injury crash about 6:35 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies report he was operating a southbound car on State Route 235 near Township Road 250 when he went off the left side of the road and struck a sign and a flower bed.
Damage was moderate to the car. Mr. Clemans was wearing his seat belt.
• Charmyn T. Breaston, 46, of Columbus, did not report any injuries after a one-vehicle crash about 9:05 a.m. Tuesday.
She reportedly was operating an eastbound sport utility vehicle on County Road 10 just west of Township Road 179 when she went off the right side of the road and struck a sign and a mailbox.
Damage to the SUV was moderate. The driver, who was wearing her seat belt, was cited for failure to control.
Clean drug sweep reported at Riverside
Deputies report that they completed a clean drug sweep of Riverside Local Schools on Tuesday morning that did not result in any drugs recovered or other unusual findings. Bellefontaine Police Department’s K-9 Arco assisted with the effort. The school reportedly was put on lockdown during the sweep.
