At an assembly, student Lighthouse Team members read Peter H. Reynold’s The Dot, which tells the story of a creative and perceptive teacher who reaches a reluctant student who thinks she can’t draw by encouraging her to be brave enough to “just make a mark and see where it takes you.”
The Lighthouse Team has allocated funds to purchase one copy of The Dot for each homeroom so that all students have regular access to this story.
