Dorothy Virginia Price, 73, of Rushsylvania, passed away Monday morning, Dec. 11, 2017, at Logan Acres Care Center.
She was born in West Mansfield on Sept. 11, 1944, to the late George Willard and Laura Alice Lease Bell. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Don Bell and Tom Bell; and sisters, Phyllis Preston, Mary Bell, Zella McCutcheon, Freda Hoffner and Mabel Bell.
A 1963 graduate of Buckeye Local High School, Dorothy worked as a nurse’s aide at Logan Acres for 22 years before retiring in 2005. She loved her flower beds and sitting on her porch visiting with neighbors. Dorothy adored her grandsons and treasured the time spent with them. She also loved to play board games with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her children, David E. (Chelyene) Price of Belle Center and Deborah Price (Jamie) Harbour of Rushsylvania; three grandsons, Chance and Ethan Price and Cole Harbour; two sisters, Nancy (Tom) Robertson of Newfoundland, Canada, and Patricia Griner of Perrysburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, where the funeral is at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15. Burial follows at Rushsylvania Cemetery.
