Doris Ann Patterson Ziessler, 80, of Bellefontaine, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2016, in her residence.
She was born Feb. 29, 1936, in Bryan, a daughter of the late Clarence and Treva Steward Patterson. She also was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John J. Ziessler, in 2014; one sister; and five brothers.
Mrs. Ziessler is survived by her children, Kent (Jenifer) Ziessler, Kris (Mike) Renkert and Kelly Kinney; five grandchildren, Whitney Renkert, Brody Kinney, Taylor Ziessler, Peyton Kinney and Treyvor Ziessler; five sisters, Marcia Bruster, Barbara Barber, Beverly Lorntz, Linda Hulbert and Patricia Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She graduated from the International Business College in Ft. Wayne, Ind., following graduation she was employed by Marathon Oil in Findlay.
Mr. and Mrs. Ziessler owned and operated Jac ‘N’ Do’s Pizza in Findlay for many years, and later both enjoyed many years at their condo in Florida. Her hobbies included reading, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was very proud of her relationship with Jesus and was a member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ, 170 E. Mill St., Rushsylvania, where calling is from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 22, followed by a Celebration of Life at 5 p.m.
