Donna Margaret Headings Wenger, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Logan Acres Care Center surrounded by her loving family.
Donna was born Aug. 8, 1927, to Archie and Mary Headings in Logan County. She was a graduate of DeGraff High School.
On Feb. 14, 1947, she married Kenneth F. Wenger. He preceded her in death in December 2000. Together, they started Wenger’s Produce in 1966.
She is survived by their children, Ron and Marcia Wenger, Eileen and Larry Warne and Jerry and Dawn Wenger, all of West Liberty, and Joan and Tom Godwin of Bellefontaine; special nephew, Ed and Melody Wenger of West Liberty; and a foster son, Mel (Bev) Tuttle of Lenoir, N.C.
She is survived by siblings, Ray and Jean Headings, Earl and Maria Headings and Shirley Wenger.
Surviving grandchildren are Tim and Heidi Wenger, April and Doug Craig, Angel and Jeremy Allen, Barb Pond, Barry and Sheryn Warne, Stephen and Shannon Wenger, Scott and Kara Wenger, Stacey and John Longshore, Seth and Meriah Wenger, Andy and Heather Godwin, Katina and Daniel Elwood, Melissa and Brian Jordan, Mark Wenger, Matt Wenger, Bryan Tuttle, Timothy Tuttle and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Rita; great-grandson, Titus Warne; and sister Norma Jean of Ontario, Canada.
Donna donated her body to Wright State Medical College.
A memorial service begins at 6 p.m, Friday, May 31, at the Bellefontaine First Church of God, 1000 E. Brown Ave., Bellefontaine. Pastor Gary Brown and Ray Headings officiate.
Donations may be made to the Logan Acres Care Center activity fund in Donna’s name.
