Donna Jean Triplett, 90, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday morning, April 23, 2017, at her home.
She was born in Fremont, Neb., to the late Harley L. and Julia Ellefson Byllesby. Donna married Wendell A. Triplett on Nov. 28, 1946, in Chillicothe and he preceded her in death Oct. 15, 1991.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Ricky Dean Triplett; brother, Kermit Byllesby; and sister, Bonnie Bond.
Donna was active in the family real estate and broadcasting businesses for many years. She was devoted to her family and particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Donna hosted the Byllesby family reunion twice in Bellefontaine, most recently in 1996. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church since the 1980s and enjoyed spending time with her dear church friends.
Donna is survived by her sons, Marc S. Triplett of Bellefontaine and Eric W. (Brenda Breil) Triplett of Gainesville, Fla.; four grandchildren, Angela (Nicholas) Wallace, Lindsey (Michael) Lee, Calli Breil and Shanna Breil; five great-grandchildren, Allison, Nathan and Alaina Wallace and Connor and Ryan Lee; a sister, Grace Wells of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine. Pastor Jeffory Willetts officiates the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1140 Rush Ave., Bellefontaine. Burial is at 3 p.m. Thursday at Springbank Cemetery, north of Chillicothe.
