Donna Booth Case, 94, of Columbusand formerly of the Rushsylvania-West Mansfield communities, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017, in the Kobacker House, Columbus.
She was born in Logan County on April 21, 1923, a daughter of the late Paul and Ruth Watkins Booth. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Bergman and Pauline Shaw.
On May 24, 1944, she married Paul Ward Case who preceded her in death Sept. 20, 1997. She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie (Jerry) Goodson of Powell, a son, Ted (Vicki) Case of West Mansfield; six grandchildren, Megan (Brian) Bell of Lewis Center, Alexa (Doug) Peterson of Johnstown, Joshua (Celeste) Goodson of Franklin, Tenn., Vanessa (Jace) Davis of Powell and John P. (Bridget) Case and Todd W. (Kim) Case, both of West Mansfield; 19 great-grandchildren; and two nieces.
Donna worked as an internal auditor for the HCR division of Owens-Illinois. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dublin, and was a longtime member of the Rushsylvania United Methodist Church and its UMW and the Rhoda Circle of the King’s Daughters. She served 16 years on the Logan County Board of Education including time as president. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Bishop Ronald Thomas of Dublin officiates the funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, where visitation is two hours prior. Burial is in Rushsylvania Cemetery.
