OGLESBEE |
Natalie N. Oglesbee, 31, of Kenton, was charged with domestic violence and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs Monday related to an incident that began at 1146 S. County Road 46, DeGraff.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to that address about 7:45 p.m. in reference to a domestic dispute involving assault.
Upon arrival, they spoke with resident Kristopher Nicholl, 39, said he and Oglesbee had been arguing and she began making threats to harm his friends, and that she then backhanded him in the face. He said she had left the residence in a vehicle.
He provided deputies with an audio recording of the events and he said he suspected she had been drinking. No visible injuries were reported to Nicholl.
Deputies located the defendant during a traffic stop a short time later at County Road 24 at County Road 21, and noted that she displayed signs of intoxication.
Field sobriety tests were administered, and a nearly empty bottle of liquor was located in her vehicle. She was transported to the Logan County Jail, where she refused to take a breath test.
