UNION COUNTY — A Woodstock man was sentenced to prison this week in Union County Common Pleas Court for an attempted robbery of a Marysville pharmacy.
Ian John Keller, 24, was sentenced to five years in prison by visiting former Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark S. O’Connor for robbery and possessing weapons under disability.
Keller has previous convictions in Logan County for theft and possession of drugs, and was on probation locally last Oct. 3 when he entered a CVS Pharmacy along West Fifth Avenue in Marysville and attempted to rob the establishment of Percocet with two firearms.
Because he had firearms, a minimum one-year prison sentence was mandatory. He faced as many as 18 years behind bars.
