Riverside’s Lauryn Davis throws no-hitter against Fairlawn
West Liberty-Salem’s Kelsey Day tossed a three-hitter to help her team drop visiting Triad 3-0 on Friday in an Ohio Heritage Conference contest.
The Tigers move their record to 18-3 on the season and 11-3 in the league. The loss drops the Cardinals to 12-8 overall and 8-4 in the OHC.
WL-Salem started the game by driving in a run in the first inning for an early lead. The Tigers clawed forward and scored another run in the fifth inning for a 2-0 score. They would add one more run in the sixth inning for a 3-0 lead.
Triad was unable to score during their last at bat in the seventh inning.
