CONNOR DAVIS |
Former Indian Lake soccer standout Connor Davis has signed with the Dayton Dutch Lions FC of the Premier Development League.
Davis, who plays soccer at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, will be with the Dutch Lions for their 14-game schedule and then will rejoin his MVNU teammates in the fall.
Davis is the youngest player on the Dutch Lions. The Premier Development League is considered the top level of men’s amateur soccer competition in the U.S. and Canada. Nearly 70 percent of Major League Soccer draftees since 2010 have PDL experience.
Davis played his first game with the Lions on Tuesday and his team came away with a 2-0 win over the Derby City Rovers of Louisville, Ky.
