Daniel J. German, 80, of Bellefontaine passed away at 3:58 am on Wednesday, Jan, 13, 2021 in Mary Rutan Hospital ICU, Bellefontaine.
He was born in Kalida, Ohio, on June 4, 1940, the son of the late Hilbert and Loretta (Ellerbrock) German.
On April 11, 1992, he married Kathryn ‘Cookie’ (Martindale) German and she survives.
He is also survived by his siblings, Connie (Richard) Wyatt, Margie Stokes, Phyllis (Gene) Gallimore, Pat Davis, Jim German, children; Rick Price, Greg and Melinda Price, Randy and Tammy Price, Michael and Theresa Price, Susan and Jeremy Alltick, grandchildren; Bobbie and Quinton Cooley, Shenna and Russ Oswalt, Brittany and Trey Shropshire, Amanda and Mark Lowery, Danielle Billings, Kaylee and Zack Cox, Taylor Price and Josh Yates, Hailee Price and Dawson Miller, Kimber Price, Ethan Riley, Hunter Lattimer, 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Ronald German and two brothers-in-law, Roger Stokes and Max Davis.
Danny worked for M&R Television for a number of years before going to work for Belletech, where he retired from after 20 years of service. Danny loved to fish and enjoyed fishing trips and out of state motorcycle trips with his buddies in his younger years. He loved to spend time with his grandkids.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at the American Legion #173, 120 W. Colton Ave., Bellefontaine.
