Patricia Taylor, 32, and Eric L. Hatfield, 32, both of St. Paris, were arrested Saturday after a 12:35 a.m. call to the 600 block of Jay Avenue.

The woman was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and obstructing official business and was cited for driving under suspension and expired operator’s license.
The man was charged with obstructing official business, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report.
As police arrived, Ms. Taylor drove a car from the parking spot along the street, spinning the tires and nearly hit two men who were approaching the car.
Officers had encountered the woman earlier in the shift and they knew she was intoxicated then. Still showing signs of intoxication, she told them she was attacked inside the Pink House, 600 Jay Ave. Mr. Hatfield said he also was attacked inside the bar.
He had visible injuries. Both were belligerent and yelling throughout their initial interaction with officers.
A witness told officers Mr. Hatfield started the fight.
He also attempted to interrupt sobriety tests for Ms. Taylor.
Both were arrested and lodged in the Logan County Jail. The driver’s breathalyzer results exceeded 0.15.
Ms. Taylor continued to yell at officers and jail staff and was placed in the facility’s restraint chair.
• Tyrone C. Coleman, 38, of 408 Walker St., was charged Friday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was cited for driving under suspension, no safety belt, disregarding traffic control devices and failure to properly display license plates.
He was observed around 2:30 a.m. driving across parking spaces in the Fontaine Plaza shopping center, 1700 S. Main St., toward an automated teller machine kiosk.
An officer identified the motorist when he got out of the vehicle to use the ATM. The motorist was under three current driving suspensions.
Upon stopping him, the officer detected an odor of alcohol on the driver and performed a series of field sobriety tests. The motorist was taken into custody based on the tests and was lodged in jail.
He allegedly cursed the officer once he was taken into custody.
