Taylor Hites’ grand champion market lamb finally moved from the shadows into the spotlight.

Nicknamed “Cornerman” because, “since he was a little baby, he would just hide in the corner, and he still kind of does,” said an emotional Taylor after the championship run Wednesday night in which she also had another first place entry. Cornerman is the heavier of the two projects.
A senior at Benjamin Logan High School, she is a repeat champion and just likes working with lambs.
She could be seen on the road on the outskirts of New Richland morning and evening running with her lambs.
“So many runs down the road,” she laughed. “Some people think it’s a dog, honestly.”
