Logan County Electric Cooperative conducted its 81st annual members meeting Tuesday to discuss the cooperative’s financial standing; hear an educational report from President and General Manager Rick Petty, and learn the results of voting for the two seats on the board of trustees.
Members re-elected two incumbents to three-year terms on the board with Jerry Fry retaining the District 2 seat, defeating Dan Niese, while Jim Rice held his District 3 seat over David Tighe.
Director of Finance and Accounting Tiffany Stoner reports the cooperative’s financial standing as strong.
Mild winters the past two years helped drive down income and operation costs helping the cooperative near its annual goals.
