Huntsville Mayor William Jenkins presented council members with information about the 2017 Logan County Community Development Block Grant program during a recent village council meeting.
Village officials planned to attend an April hearing for the 2017 program. A meeting to discuss community needs and specific possible projects also took place immediately following the public hearing.
The mayor also reported that deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office will patrol Huntsville weeknights and early mornings to discourage individuals who disregard posted speed limits.
