Two Columbus men — each with a criminal history — were arrested early Tuesday morning by Bellefontaine Police Department officers after they allegedly burglarized the Moose Lodge, 912 S. Detroit St.
The duo was located a short time later in a vehicle that had various criminal tools, including crow bars, tin snips and seven unused prepaid cell phones.
Kennith P. Nelson, 23, and Oscar L. Staton Jr., each was charged with felony counts of breaking and entering and they were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
About 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the Moose Lodge on a report of two suspicious men walking around the facility. Upon arrival, officers checked the building and then spoke with a witness, who provided a vehicle description and suspect descriptions.
