BHS Marching Band Spectacular returns Saturday evening

Bellefontaine High School’s longtime Marching Band Spectacular returns Saturday evening at 7 p.m. with performances planned by 10 area marching bands at AcuSport Stadium.
The annual showcase features the host school and its 115 band members, along with marching bands from Riverside, Ridgemont, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, West Liberty-Salem, North Union, Graham, Urbana and Sidney high schools. Admission is $5 per person.
“We’re inviting all of these area marching bands to perform their half-time shows,” BHS band director Jeremy Karg said Tuesday afternoon during a rehearsal outside at the stadium. “We’re looking forward to seeing a nice variety of shows, and it should be a fun evening for everyone involved, from the band members to the audience.
