Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Bellefontaine man in connection with a previously reported stabbing incident that occurred early Monday in West Mansfield.
Randy Charles Thomas Burdiss, 22, of 813 Heritage Court, Apt. 49, was arrested at his residence Monday morning. He was booked into the Logan County Jail on one count of attempted felonious assault.
Deputies had responded to the stabbing about 3 a.m. Monday in 200 block of Highland Street, West Mansfield.
Victim Michael L. Murray, 29, of Springfield, was first transported by private vehicle to Mary Rutan Hospital. Mr. Murray then was transferred by MedFlight helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Deputies continue to investigate this incident.
