• City Christmas — 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, downtown Bellefontaine, hosted by Bellefontaine Grace Church; free ice skating, petting zoo, live music, hot cocoa, Christmas trunk-or-treat village and hayride in the city that takes participants to the heart of the Christmas story.
• Logan County Libraries Santa visit — 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 18, at Knowlton Library, 220 N. Main St., children of all ages can meet Santa and take home treats.
• East Liberty Community Choir’s “A Christmas Cantata” — 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, East Liberty Church of Christ; the choir, under the direction of Jason E. Robson, consists of members from area churches; admission is free and doors open at 6:30 p.m.
• Logan County Sheriff’s Office Holiday Film Fest — Noon Tuesday, Dec. 21, Bellefontaine Cinema 8, join the LCSO staff for a showing of A Christmas Story, admission is free, Santa will make an appearance after the movie ends.
• West Central Ohio Community Concert Band free holiday concert — 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, Holland Theatre; opportunity to take a break from the stresses of the season and relax with cheerful sounds of Christmas favorites.
• West Liberty Christmas Day free meal — Saturday, Dec. 25, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., drive-thru pick up for meals at Liberty Gathering Place, 111 N. Detroit St., West Liberty; meal deliveries also available, place requests by Dec. 24 by calling Oak Grove Mennonite Church, (937) 465-4749; the annual Christmas Day meal is a combined effort of approximately one dozen churches in the West Liberty area.
