Bellefontaine’s varsity volleyball team evened its season record at 1-1 with a three-set victory over visiting Wapakoneta on Tuesday.

The Chiefs prevailed by scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-20.
For BHS, Violet Martin had eight kills, four aces and four digs, Anya Nunez tallied two digs, Kiersten King had six kills, two aces and 15 digs, Haylee Pequignot had one ace and 19 digs, Kassidi Sullivan recorded two kills and nine digs, Challony Tolliver had three kills and four blocks, Hannah Rader had five kills, one ace and four digs and McKenzie Smith had 35 assists and three aces.
Bellefontaine is back in action Thursday at home against West Liberty-Salem.
