Bellefontaine’s baseball team built an early lead and held on down the stretch to defeat host Indian Lake 6-2 on Thursday in a local Central Buckeye Conference meeting.

The Chieftains are now 3-9 overall and 2-7 in the CBC standings. The Lakers remain winless at 0-14, 0-9.
After two scoreless innings, Bellefontaine drove in two runs in the top of the third frame.
