Bellefontaine’s girls tennis team lost to Greenon 4-1 on Tuesday and then fell to Lima Shawnee 5-0 on Wednesday.
In the match against Greenon, the Chiefs’ lone win came from Devyn Croston and Grace Beaverson at second doubles. They prevailed 6-2, 6-4.
At first doubles, the Chiefs’ Julie Downing and Abbi Adelsberger lost 7-5, 6-3.
In the singles matches, Cambryia Elkins lost 6-1, 6-0 at first singles, Madison Aldo fell 6-1, 6-1 at second singles and Livi Robbins lost 6-2, 6-3 at third singles.
The Chiefs won a reserve match as Cassidy Braun and Aldo prevailed 8-0.
Lima Shawnee won all five matches in straight sets Wednesday.
Elkins was defeated 6-1, 6-0 at first singles, Aldo lost 6-1, 6-0 at second singles and Robbins was defeated 6-0, 6-0 at third singles.
Downing and Adelsberger fell 6-1, 6-0 at first doubles and Braun and Beaverson fell 6-1, 6-0 at second doubles.
Bellefontaine plays at Northwestern today.
