With Urbana still hanging on in the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail division race, Bellefontaine can land a knockout blow Friday night.
The Chiefs lead the Kenton Trail standings with a 9-0 record, sitting two games ahead of the Hillclimbers (7-2 in the CBC, 10-6 overall) with four league games remaining.
Bellefontaine already has one win over Urbana under its belt this season, grinding out a 43-40 victory on the Hillclimbers’ home court Dec. 16.
BHS head coach Jason Calton does not expect to see any major changes from the Hillclimbers in Friday’s rematch.
“Urbana has been a zone defense team all year,” he said. “I believe they are more comfortable playing zone so I don’t think we will see anything differently defensively.”
