Bellefontaine’s competitive cheerleading squad won its second straight Central Buckeye Conference championship Saturday during the allleague event at Urbana High School.

The Chiefs were also the overall champions of the meet for the second year in a row with 355 points.
Urbana won the Mad River division championship.
Bellefontaine was followed in the Kenton Trail division by Kenton Ridge (353), Jonathan Alder (342.5), London (312.5), Springfield Shawnee (298.5) and Tecumseh (261.5).
Earning first-team all-CBC honors for Bellefontaine were Lauren Carter and Torrie Breaston.
Second-team honors for BHS went to Lauren Easton and Mackenzie Southard, while honorable mention awards went to Bri Burkhammer and Mia McDonald. Ellise St. Clair received the sportsmanship award.
