Bellefontaine and Benjamin Logan’s competition cheerleading squads earned return trips to the OASSA cheer and dance state competition after qualifying on Saturday at Dublin Jerome High School.

The Chieftains qualified for the second year in a row after winning the Division III nonbuilding division.
Competing for the Chieftains were Lauren Carter, Torrie Breaston, Riley Myers, Lauren Easton, Mia McDonald, Ellise St. Clair, MacKenzie Southard, Brianna Burkhammer and Leeah Kuhn.
Benjamin Logan reached the state meet for the sixth straight season after winning the Division IV building division.
Competing for the Raiders were Mason Straker, Macy Arn, Peyton Kinney, LeAnn Regula, Kristen Miller, Mackenzie Deardorff, Ella Studebaker, Raistlyn LeVan, Mary Bickham, Grace Grant, Elanie McWade, Reise Anderson, Gabe Hemmelgarn, Makenna Straker and Sami Meeker.
The OASSA state cheer competition is Sunday, March 10, Ohio State University’s St. John Arena.
