Bellefontaine’s Anastasia Hiatt had a golf experience of a lifetime Friday afternoon.
A senior for the Lady Chiefs, Hiatt recorded a hole-in-one during the team’s win over Northwestern at Reid Park South Golf Course in Springfield.
Hiatt aced the par-3, 137-yard ninth hole. Head coach Darin Vermillion said its the first ace in BHS golf history.
Bellefontaine rolled to a 197-263 win. Madison Taylor led the Lady Chiefs with a 44 and Kayla Watkins was close behind with a 48. Hiatt shot 52 and Morgan Burden carded a 53.
Also for the Chiefs, Kyndal Newkirk had a 57 and Lexi Buffkin added a 63.

Indian Lake’s girls golf team was defeated by Graham 194-225 on Wednesday at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.
Regan Ross was the medalist for the Lakers with a 38.
No other individual scores were reported for Indian Lake.
Indian Lake is back in action Monday.
Riverside girls play pair of matches
Riverside’s girls golf team lost to Mechanicsburg 193-230 at Cherokee Hills Golf Course on Thursday.
Maddie Sanford shot a 53 to lead the Pirates. Sasha Stotler had 56 and Roz Estep had 60.
The Pirates also played in a tri-match Friday with Ft. Loramie and Anna.
Ft. Loramie won with 179, Riverside was second with 245 and Anna finished third with 255.
Mia Stallard led Riverside with a 52 and Roz Estep had a 62.
Riverside is back in action Monday at Arcanum.
