But the Chiefs could not get their offense on track as they dropped a 49-28 decision to the visiting Cougars in Bellefontaine’s final home game of the season.
Bellefontaine falls to 8-11 overall and 2-6 in the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail division. It was the ninth win in a row for the Cougars, who move to 15-3, 5-2.
“We didn’t make enough shots in the first half to be right there with them,” said Bellefontaine head coach Henry Stolly. “Against a team as good as Kenton Ridge, you have to knock down some shots and we struggled shooting the ball tonight.”
