Cheryl L. Snyder, 66, of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at her residence.
She was born in Bellefontaine on July 20, 1950. to the late John P. Carr and Mary Lou Magness Carr who survives in Bellefontaine.
She is also survived by her sons, Tim Bates of Oregon, Matthew Bates of Colorado and Nick (Sarah) Snyder of Dayton; grandchildren, Katey, Allison, Anthony, Samantha, Jennifer, Megan, Luke and Adam; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Paislee; brothers, Dave Carr and George Carr, both of Bellefontaine, Rick (Shelly) Carr of Dayton and Greg (Mandi) Carr of West Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Judy Rickey of West Liberty.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and John Carr.
Cheryl loved to dance, listen to music, watch movies, read books and especially loved animals. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. Cheryl will be missed by all who loved her.
Father Kenneth Baker officiates a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 328 E. Patterson Ave. Bellefontaine. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Jan. 2, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
