He served on the board of New Path Pregnancy Resource Center (formerly Hi-Point Women’s Center) for 30 years. He held a deep concern for the endangered unborn and worked to help abortion-minded mothers find new hope in Christ and to make a decision to carry their baby to a full term pregnancy.
Chuck’s closing words to family and friends are as follows: “The Lord provided for me a wonderful family and many dear friends. I always thanked God for each one of you. I was blessed to experience salvation at the age of 27 through repenting for my sins and declaring my trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. This was all because of God’s enabling grace. He has provided for me a wonderful life of experiencing His goodness. Now I am in His presence in a manner long hoped for, and I appeal to all of you to stay on or to take the path of salvation that I have walked with my Creator. He will also delight in being faithful to each of you as He has been and continues to be to me.”
