The Logan County Cattle Association is now accepting applications for its annual scholarships, with applications due March 15.
Multiple scholarships are available in the amounts of the $250 to $500.
The criteria for the scholarship are as follows:
• applicant must be the child of a beef producer or be directly engaged themselves in the production or promotion of beef;
• parents of the applicant must be active members of the Logan County Cattle Association; and
• applicants must be a resident of Logan County ormust attend a Logan County school.
Applicants are selected by a committee appointed by the president of the county association. The committee will review applications and will have the option to interview applicants if desired. All selections are final and will be recognized at the Logan County Fair in July and at the Logan County Cattle Association Banquet in February.
Applications are available by request from the Logan County Schools counselors or FFA instructors.
