Calvary Christian’s soccer team claimed its third consecutive Ohio Christian School Athletic Association state championship over the weekend.

The Spartans defeated Liberty Academy of Pataskala 2-1 in the semifinals and beat Mansfield Temple Christian 4-0 in the state title game. Calvary finished the season with a 12-2-4 record. They were the co-champions of the Ohio Valley Christian Conference.
The senior class of Matt Bender, Josh Kilgore and Noah LaBelle ended their careers with three OCSAA state championships and one runner-up finish.
